Call for volunteers: Spring clean day at Winsford Cottage Hospital
As 2017 draws to a close we’d like to thank everyone who has volunteered for us this year. Here’s our latest update on the amazing volunteer work that has been going at Landmark.
Open Days
A huge thank you to everyone who has helped this year at our open days. We’ve now posted dates for our 2018 Open Days on the website – do have a look and get in touch if you’d like to help at any of them.

Winsford Cottage Hospital, Halwell Junction, North Devon
On 16 February 2018 we are organising a Winsford Spring Clean to help with maintaining the building and the landscape during this fundraising stage. If you’d like to come along and help please email and we will send you more details.

To stay up to date with Winsford Cottage Hospital news, email us to join the Winsford mailing list.

Llwyn Celyn - more volunteer tasks!
We have some more tasks lined up for the spring where we need your help - hedge laying, tree planting and hopefully some more dry stone walling. All tasks will be supervised by professionals so it’s a perfect opportunity to learn a new skill, shake off the winter and herald in the spring. Dates are Saturday 3rd March, Tuesday 6th & Wednesday 7th March.

For those wishing to work on both Tuesday and Wednesday, accommodation in a local bunkhouse can be provided. Saturday will be a stand-alone day.  Please email for more information.

Goddards Gardening - thank you, Mary
We’d like to say a huge thank you to Mary Dibley who has been volunteering each week in the garden at Goddards. Mary says it is a perfect antidote to her desk job and the garden looks wonderful with all her help.

Head Office volunteering - water meters or rates?
We are looking for a volunteer to help in our Business Operations team to help assess our water bills for a week.  It involves evaluating our current water bills, looking at water and sewage volumes, water usage and comparing water usage across our buildings to help us decide whether to stay with water rates or move to water meters. Sound like something you would like to help with? Email us if you’re interested.

Live in the Midlands?
Plans are afoot to tidy and enhance the important Picturesque landscape at Knowle Hill. If you live in the Midlands and enjoy gardening and landscaping please email us to find out more and sign up.

Don’t forget to keep an eye on our website for any new volunteer tasks at Landmark – it’s a lovely way to find out more about our work and join the team.
